Following the summer break our weekly clubs/activities are returning to normal within the next week. Some of the clubs have a bit of a break over the summer to allow the leaders a bit of a rest but will begin again in the next few days.
In a few short weeks the YPF (Young People's Fellowship) will be going away on their annual camping trip. In preparation for this we are holding a few special prayer meetings to pray for both the spiritual and practical elements of the weekend.
This coming week is the last week that all of our main clubs are run before they break up for the summer recess.
For the last few years we have held an annual church Garden Party, and the time is fast approaching for this year’s extravaganza! This year the event will be held on Saturday 19th June 2010.
This coming Sunday (9th May) we have David Quinn from AsiaLink coming to speak to us at our 6.30pm service. AsiaLink is a Christian mission agency connecting the church with the unreached people of Asia.
In conjunction with a number of other local churches we are backing an Election Forum to be held this coming Tuesday evening (20th April) at St Margaret’s Church, Stanford-le-Hope, from 7.30pm to 9.00pm.
