Church Garden Party 2010
For the last few years we have held an annual church Garden Party, and the time is fast approaching for this year’s extravaganza! This year the event will be held on Saturday 19th June 2010.
The event is always popular, with around 80-100 people coming along and enjoying what will hopeful.lly be a sunny afternoon. The age range typically spans from 0 to 80+, so we’ve got most conversation topics covered, but we’d love to meet even more people so we would like to invite you to come along, relax and enjoy the afternoon (and evening!) with us.
The format of the day is very informal, with lots of free food (both healthy and not so healthy) and drink and a chance to sit down and chat. Plenty of garden games are available too, with a trampoline for the younger ones.
As the evening progresses, the truly tough attendees tend to sit around the fire and keep the party going for many hours more, whilst also trying to keep warm.
The garden party is being held on Saturday 19th June at 410 Southend Road, Stanford-le-Hope, and if you’d like to come then please turn up anytime from 4pm. You don’t need to bring anything, just yourself and maybe some family and friends.
Even if the weather’s not as good as we hope, we’ll still end up meeting and we’ll have a contingency plan, of some sort!
