Less than a week to go!
Members of Corringham Evangelical Church are about to begin running a new and updated course explaining Christianity, called 'Christianity Explored'. The course has been successfully run over a number of years and has been completely revised with exciting new visuals and challenging topics. Those who come along will share a home-cooked meal and be able to ‘brush up’ on what the Bible says about a variety of topics.
Co-ordinator Daren Partridge explained, "There is a lot of confusion out there. People are really asking questions like 'does God exist?' and 'why is there so much suffering in the world?' so we thought it was time to get together and talk these questions through. We’ve run the course previously and everyone who came along found it really helpful."
Each week of the course begins with a meal, cooked by members of the Church, followed by a discussion and a short DVD presentation. The course is designed to be interactive and approachable, and people of all ages are welcome.
One of the people who previously undertook the course, Kate Baden, said "The course was really enjoyable - I liked the way that each chapter had a video and points for discussion as these helped me to understand the message of the Gospel as well as giving me an opportunity to ask any questions that I had."
Details about the course, a promotional video and an enquiry form can be found on our Christianity Explored page. The first meeting will be held on Tuesday 24th January at 7pm and interested people are welcome to join the course at any point over the next seven weeks.
