Over the Easter we’ve got a number of activities and services that might be of interest to you. Easter is the most important Christian festival of the year and is right at the heart of why we meet together as Christians.
On Good Friday (29th March) we have a short church service at 10.00am at which we will think about the death of Jesus and why for Christians this is Good. In the evening (at 7.30pm) we’re looking forward to a Truffle Making Workshop, which is now fully booked.
On Easter Saturday (30th March) the TJC invite young people to join them for their Easter Egg Hunt. This popular yearly tradition is taking place at Dry Street Memorial Church (Langdon Hills) and will involve Easter basket making followed by an egg hunt, refreshments, and the Easter story, all lasting around an hour. The activity starts at 10.00am and all are welcome to join us.
On Easter Sunday we will have a worship service at 11.00am to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus and what it means for us, and our evening service at 6.30pm will be an open service with a chance for anyone to share how God has been working in their lives.
There’s lots going on and we’d love for you to join us for some or all of it. Please contact us if you would like any more information.
Please also note that our weekday activity programme will be in recess for the two week Easter break so there will be no Club 7/12, Tot Spot, Open Church, Fuse or Coffee Break until the week commencing 15th April.
